Well, we are still hanging around in Marathon and the Florida Keys. We took a little trip in Wandering Toes down to a great little anchorage by Big Pine Key called Picnic Island. There’s a beautiful resort on the way to the anchorage, which was very interesting getting into at low tide.

We also have a new crew member who is starting to get her sea legs, all four of them. We’ve had her now for about 2 weeks and for someone who has spent her whole life in a shelter, I must say she’s doing exceptionally well! Her name is Luna and I figure in a very short amount of time, she’ll have us right where she wants us.

So, with all the craziness going on around us, this is something good we could focus on. We’ve been thinking about it for along time and we thought this would be a good year as we didn’t make it to the Bahamas. She’ll be all acclimated to travel by next year when we go, and we are super excited to have her on-board.
Till next time
Awesome new crew member! Of course she’s doing remarkably well—she’s finally out of that shelter! Don’t know why, but neither Jerry nor I have gotten any updates since sometime last year. I tried putting in my email again, but it just said it already had my address. We’ll have to keep checking, I guess.
