Catching up. So in short, the rest of our trip across the top of Ontario’s Lake Superior. From Ignace we went to Kakabeka Falls (8-19), stopped in Thunder Bay for some supplies and did some Boonedocking (free) across the rest of Lake Superior’s northern shore. (8-20) Up to a rest/picnic stop on Lake Helen north of the Nipigon on the river. (8-21) We made a quick stop at Rainbow Falls and on to Terrace Bay, right on the shore of Lake Superior. Gorgeous!  (8-22) Up to Aquasabon Falls in the morning then off towards Michipicoton, Sandy Beach by WaWa. (8-23) To Batchawana Bay’s south side at Haivland Canoe/Kayak landing, David walked out in the lake, which is very high still and very cold! (8-24) Thru Sioux Ste. Marie and on to Bruce Mines Campground, $25 a day, on the North Channel and our friend Bill M. came to visit for a few days, till the 28th. Did a lot of exploring. Bushplane Heritage Museum in the Sioux, took a drive with the car up to Aubrey Falls along the Mississagi River (quite the adventure). Campfires and cribbage tournaments, wonderful visit.
