So, we have traveled from Baton Rouge LA to Minneapolis MN thru some beautiful countryside. We came north to Hot Springs AR, great history, hot springs and bath houses, home to the Ohio Club which was a bar/casino during prohibition and hangout to people like “The Rat Pack” Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop, Peter Lawford, and some well known criminals, Bugsy Segal, Lucky Luciano, Owney Madden(owner of the Cotton Club in New York)  to visit David’s nephew Jared, in Little Rock and then to Branson MO to visit my sister Mary and her husband Steven then on to Minneapolis MN. Weather has been very interesting. Some tornadoes in AR and hard rain all the way to Minnesota, where all the rivers and lakes are already very high, and lots of SNOW in northern Minnesota.
