Making the run to Cape May (20 hr?) ETD 9-9:30am. Said goodbye to Capt. Tom, took showers, David prepped the boat. We had a great stay here. Capt. Tom and everyone here was awesome, will come back! Will miss him and his great stories. 9:30 off the mooring ball, Jolie Brise off too. Here we go. Did some motorsailing past Sandy Hook and down the east coast until it got dark. Some swells and wind, got a little wild late and we lost the autopilot about 1:30 in the morning. Hand steering after that till we got to Cape May at sunrise Sunday morning 6:45am. So about 21.5 hours. Anchored in the area in front of the Coast Guard station, perfect and went to sleep for a few hours. Dave & Leslie, Chris & Mary here too. Jolie Brise continued up the Delaware.
